Summary

Poor Ruben! His life is falling apart in this charmingly offbeat French comedy about a gay Jewish man who just can’t catch a break. Ruben is enjoying an idyllic life as a postal carrier in a small Finnish town where he lives with his boyfriend Teemu. But a series of events finds Ruben kicked out of his house and on a plane back to his family in Paris for Passover. His mother thinks all Ruben needs is to find a nice Jewish girl! Then there’s Mr. Goldberg, the family lawyer who declares his love for Ruben and won’t take no for an answer. Let My People Go! is a wonderfully entertaining look at the ups and downs of love and family. The cast includes Amira Casar and Carmen Maura (Pedro Aldomovar's Volver).

The short film "Scheherazade and the Kosher Delight" will screen with "Let My People Go!"
