Dusk (Bein Ha’shmashot)

Dusk (Bein Ha’shmashot)

Summary

DUSK is a journey down the path of Israeli reality through the story of ordinary people. It is a story about insecure parents and children, about the search for atonement, and the ability to forgive. The ramifications of a car accident connect intertwining story strands in the ambitious Israeli drama "Dusk." First time director-writer Alon Zingman channels Paul Haggis' "Crash," but with plotlines exploring parent-child relationships and abandonment rather than race relations. Zingman proves accomplished at cinematically exploiting narrative tension.
